Senior System Engineer (Perm)
- Responsible for deskside IT support and own IT system implementation projects
- Lead IT infrastructure projects, monitor project status and ensure projects are delivered with quality
- Handle IT software and hardware procurement, communicate with service partners and vendors
- Proactively review and suggest improvement plans to IT operations
- Handle cross function team / department projects
- Monitor security alerts, investigate, and resolve cyber security incidents
- Work with the IT teams to conduct regular system and application vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, source code reviews, threat, and IT compliance assessments
- Investigate, analyze, and effectively communicate report findings from threat assessments and vulnerability scans to senior management, business users and IT teams, and make recommendations for remediation
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related disciplines
- 5+ years solid working experience in project implementation and maintenance support, with broad IT infrastructure knowledge in Windows/Linux Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Virtualization and Enterprise-grade storage systems
- Familiar with deskside end user support operations
- Familiar with cloud technologies (O365, Azure & AWS) is preferred
- Track record in being a key person / leader of IT projects, as well as hands-on implementation capability
- Experience in server and network infrastructure monitoring and backup
- Experience in Data Center system infrastructure will be an advantage
- Experience in IT deskside operation audit will be an advantage
- Sound knowledgeable in common IT compliances
- Good working attitude with strong problem solving & inter-personal communication skill
- Good communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
