Server Support Engineer
- Provide Windows Support Task, BAU troubleshooting, regular patch management
- Perform server configuration, maintenance, security patching and monitoring
- Troubleshoot server software and hardware issues with quick response
- Enhance server security by applying server patching to all critical servers
- Coordinate with vendors to identify the root cause of the problem and solution
- Participate in projects like SolarWinds upgrade, Citrix upgrade, NVidia VDI implementation and EDR application, etc.
- Setup monitoring tool to server status, application status
- Monitor backup and perform restore task as request
- Troubleshoot inbound, outbound Email block issue
- Work with cyber security team in security prevention project for internal and regional office.
- Work with network team to troubleshoot server connection issues
- Experience Knowledge in Windows O/S (2012/2016/2019)
- Experience in GPO/ MS Failover Clustering and High Availability Technology
- (Hyper-V, MSSQL failover)
- Experience on PowerShell script
- Basic Infrastructure knowledge in Backup/Network/VMware
- Knowledge or experience on Cloud service (AWS, Azure) and O365
