Database Administrator
- Maintain the integrity and performance of the corporate databases.
- Work with project team on database related projects, design and implement database in accordance to end users’ information needs and views.
- Work with infrastructure team to perform backup / restore and recovery plans.
- Provide proactive and reactive data management support.
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
- University graduate in Computer Science, or industry related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience on MS SQL/ Oracle server administration.
- Sound technical knowledge of all the following:
- Large MS SQL database administration (include database installation, security patch, HA and DR configuration, performance tuning etc.)
- Windows, Linux/Unix platform
- Define and setup backup / restore / DR Policy
- Database monitoring tools
- Database cloning and masking
- Capacity planning for database
- Performance tuning / health check
- Experience with the following a plus:
- Oracle database 19c
- Non-SQL databases e.g., neo4j, mongo DB
- Database cloud technologies
- Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and verbal)
