Systems Analyst – SAS
- Various development tasks and operation support for:
- SAS and analytics applications used.
- Other platforms (e.g., Java) or open/proprietary regulatory systems.
- Create prototypes to visualize a business idea and participate in new project initiative.
- Manage vendors for solution design and implementation.
- Occasional needs to perform system support outside of office hours.
- Other ad-hoc tasks or projects.
- University graduate in Computing Sciences, Applied Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, or IT related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of system development and support experience, with at least 2 years in SAS and 2 years in data analytics.
- Sound technical knowledge of the following:
- SAS EG and SAS Web Report Studio.
- SAS Portal and SAS 9.4 server administration.
- VBA, shell scripting and PL/SQL programming.
- Other reporting / BI tools, e.g., Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, etc.
- Experience with the following a plus:
- Data modelling/virtualization and data warehouse experience.
- Market data surveillance platform / solution (e.g. SMARTS).
- Python - Generative AI and Machine Learning models.
- Ability to perform requirement collection, design, programming, testing and implementation with minimum supervision.
- Good English and Chinese communication skills (both written and verbal).
