IT Infrastructure Specialist (Storage/Linux, 50-60K)
- Oversee the installation, deployment, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of server and storage infrastructure.
- Provide technical consultation and strategic planning for website development, user application systems, system software, and hardware.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements and propose cost-effective, optimized solutions.
- Ensure high performance and availability of server and storage infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux environments.
- Generate comprehensive system documentation and reporting.
- Research emerging trends in Linux and storage technologies to identify opportunities for service improvements.
- Advise and support application development teams with technical expertise.
- Respond to emergency production incidents, provide on-site support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in storage and server support, preferably in large-scale Linux enterprise environments.
- Proficient hands-on skills with Linux, and storage solutions, including but not limited to SAN Storage, Veritas Netbackup, VSP, Tuning Manager, NETAPP, Brocade etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities in English.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work. effectively under pressure.
