IT Operation Manager (35-40K)
- Participate and assist in the buildup of the Data Centre from ground zero under the guidance and support of the designer and builder of the team.
- Oversee IT Service Management functions, including system, network, storage, software management, and daily operations.
- Serve as the focal point of contact for communications regarding IT operations, representing the customer.
- Manage a team of 8-10 IT support professionals, including Network Engineers, System Engineers, and Operators, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Lead the overall provision of the services to the customer.
- Manage IT service release launches and change management, including documentation and training materials, and provide training to IT staff and users.
- Lead the coordination and resolution of major incidents and problems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IT services against established service level agreements (SLAs) and targets.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work with vendors to perform IT support activities.
- Implement and manage security protocols and measures to protect the infrastructure and data.
- Perform ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as requested.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, system integrators, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of proven experience in managing IT operations.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in end-point support, network support, IT infrastructure management, and security.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient in procurement and vendor management processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Candidates with experience in compliance-related environments, such as Financial Services Industry (FSI) and government sectors, are preferred.
