Position: IT Infrastructure Manager (Data Center, 45-55K)
- Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure operation engineers and data center operators.
- Oversee end-to-end data center operations, infrastructure management, and monitoring (servers, storage, networking).
- Manage IT services, including systems, network, storage, and GPU availability, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain current documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Oversee routine maintenance, updates, patch management, and conduct regular health checks of the data center.
- Ensure 24/7 operational readiness, availability, and effective escalation procedures.
- Act as an escalation point for high-severity incidents and operator issues
- Respond promptly to outages and service disruptions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare reports on infrastructure health, incidents, and capacity planning.
- Manage operators, vendors, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Establish key metrics for proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent issues.
- Communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and stakeholders regarding incidents and changes.
- Lead ad-hoc projects, continuous improvement initiatives, staff scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee help desk operations and ensure high-quality customer service.
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and their impact on operations within an AI Supercomputing Center (AISC).
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Telco/ICT industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure, and environmental systems
- Familiarity with server, storage and network services operation
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Prince2) are an advantage
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making skills and customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
