Cloud Migration Engineer (Azure / GCP, 40-60K)
- Analyze existing Azure architecture and design a migration strategy to GCP.
- Plan and execute migration of applications, services, and data to GCP with minimal downtime.
- Design scalable, cost-effective infrastructure on GCP to match or improve Azure environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
- Optimize GCP resources for performance, cost, and scalability post-migration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration.
- Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure service continuity.
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like GCP Operations Suite.
- Document migration processes and train teams for effective post-migration management.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including core services.
- Proven experience in cloud migration projects, preferably from Azure to GCP.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, or similar.
