Network Engineer (Government, 40-50K)
- Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in automating network tasks using tools like Ansible.
- Monitor network performance with tools such as PRTG, U-Centre, and ELK.
- Develop scripts in Python, Shell, or YAML to improve automation.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and optimize network performance.
- Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in IT networking.
- Experience in technical support for network infrastructure in at least two of the following areas:
- Network routers and Layer 2/3 switches.
- Network firewall appliances.
- Automation tools (e.g., Ansible and Ansible Tower)
- Network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, U-Centre, and ELK)
- Scripting (e.g., Python, Shell scripting, and YAML)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, and able to work independently.
