Network Specialist
- Experience of network Support within a large institution
- Hands-on Cisco product configuration using IOS
- Working knowledge of the following LAN/WAN Protocols & Technologies: (TCP/IP, Multicast, Ethernet, VPN)
- Working knowledge of the following routing & bridging protocols: (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Etherchannel)
- Working knowledge of Firewall platforms
- Working knowledge of Load Balancing platforms
- Working knowledge of Enterprise management platforms
- Working knowledge of Cisco Ip telephony system
- Working knowledge of video conferencing system
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English
- Support incidents and work outside of business hours when needed
- Diploma or University degree or above in engineering or computing science
- 3-5 years’ experience of working within a large multiple-site, multi-protocol LAN & WAN, preferably within a global financial institution
- Hands-on Cisco product configuration using IOS
- Working knowledge and design of multicast enabled LAN/WANs
- Knowledge of infrastructure cabling schemes, the Medias and technologies used
- Working knowledge of Enterprise wireless technologies
