Project Manager (Banking)
- Manage regional application infrastructure projects.
- Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees.
- Liaise with multiple cross functional teams to coordinate technical requirements and propose the best-in-class recommendations to each project.
- Mange the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.
- Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives and to the change portfolio across HSBC.
- Enforce process discipline and improvements in areas of expertise
- Able to streamline and understanding application patching workflow and transform it into an automation progress.
- Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs.
- Degree holder in Computer Science / Information Technology
- At least 8 years working experience in IT industry and 5 years in project management.
- Experienced in MS SQL, Oracle DB and IBM WebSphere
- Sound knowledge of banking applications
- Good understanding application development life cycle
- Prefer experience on Windows Server OS and Redhat
- Working experience in Banking or Insurance background is a plus
- Able to work independent, self-motivated and willing to take challenges
- Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
